Bags for Good

Join us for a community sewing bee to make bags for Bags for Good in our community.

Bags for Good is a community-led project to provide good quality reusable bags to make reducing plastic use easier for everyone, as well as reducing textile waste. For more info about Bags for Good, follow our Facebook page.

All ages and abilities welcome! PLEASE DO REGISTER if you're coming, as spaces may be limited.

Donations of fabric, and sewing thread are much appreciated. Some previous sewing experience is preferred, but not essential, as we are happy to teach you and help you build your sewing confidence! If you can bring a sewing machine along, please do, but machines will be available for you to make friends with.

It will be pretty cool to have people who just want to iron, trim threads, cut fabrics...basically, opportunities for everyone to join in on the sewcial fun :)

If you can't make it but are keen to sew for the project, contact us on bagsforgood@gmail.com about getting a pattern, sample bag and instructions for the bags :-) If you want to help more generally, please email or complete this simple form: https://goo.gl/forms/DFIM5tCLQL8JVKEd

Bookings: bagsforgood@gmail.com
