LEGO CLUB
We have a great Lego brick collection at Dunedin Public Libraries. This is made available for children to use at the library’s Lego Club meetings held regularly during school term time. The club is suitable for primary school-aged children and is a very popular activity.
As well as being great fun, Lego play has been shown to be beneficial to children in a number of ways. These include the development of problem solving skills, mathematical thinking and creativity.

KIDS CLUB
Kids Club is an after school club that is run at the library during school term time. It is suitable for primary and intermediate school-aged children. The meetings are always packed with a variety of fun and often creative activities and children are given a healthy snack upon arrival. There is also the opportunity to have the first choice of Children’s books. Sessions are free to attend and usually run for an hour.
