Sadly, many people don’t get visitors or Christmas cards over the Festive season.
Christmas 2019 is nearing, and we want to reach as many people as possible to make them feel loved and thought of.
Sending Love is about people and communities coming together to make a festive gesture towards another person who may experience loneliness over Christmas. It is one person putting love and thought into a card to pass a smile and a sense of feeling remembered and loved onto another person.
Cards can be handmade or store bought. Just make sure the cards are filled with love and as creative as possible. Ensure the message is legible and please leave the envelope unsealed.
We have collection boxes for your cards at:
- Bookbuses
- City Library
- Mosgiel Library
- South Dunedin Community Pop-up
- Waikouaiti Library
The deadline is: Monday 9 December.
