Motor Manuals
The Library has an extensive collection of automotive maintenance and repair manuals for both cars and motorcycles.
This popular collection often provides essential information for those fixing, maintaining or even restoring motor vehicles. The collection covers makes and models of vehicles as far back as the 1930's.
Housed on the first floor of the City Library, the manuals are 'Not for Issue' and must be used in the Library although they can be supplied to our Community Libraries for short term use by customers there.
All our automotive manuals are listed in a good old fashioned card file located beside the 1st floor Information Desk. More recently purchased material is also listed on the computer catalogue.
Just ask at the 1st floor Information Desk and staff will retrieve the manual you require or if we do not hold it they can usually suggest alternative sources.
