History, Myth and Faith. A free public talk presented by the Dunedin Jewish Congregation in partnership with Dunedin Public Libraries.

How does an historical event become a religious festival? What are the inter-connections between history, myth and faith, and did these provide a means of cohesion for Jews across history? Join Dr. Peretz Segal for a unique take on Jewish culture and history.

Dr. Segal is the former head of the Legal Counsel & Legislation Department at the Israeli Ministry of Justice, and the founder and former director of the Israeli National Centre for Mediation & Dispute Resolution.
