This citation is presented to Scott Muir on 16 December 2015, in recognition of his being a great supporter and ambassador of Dunedin Public Libraries.

Scott Muir has helped make New Zealand Music Month at Dunedin Public Libraries a triumph over the last decade. His contribution has kept the May music month popular and positive, bringing new audiences into the Library while working in partnership with our talented creative community.

Scott's passion to see Dunedin's arts and cultural scene thrive is obvious through his enthusiasm and commitment to the city. He is a keen supporter of Dunedin's UNESCO City of Literature status, a key member of the Vogel Street Party, a past board member of the Fringe Festival, and part of the Transforming Dunedin team, who were involved in developing Ara Toi Our Creative Future, Dunedin's Arts and Culture strategy.
