This citation is presented to Betty Woods on 7 December 2004, in recognition of thirty years’ excellent service for the Dunedin Public Library.
As a volunteer courier, Betty Woods has delivered library materials to housebound people in a manner that has consistently exceeded the expectations of the Library.
Volunteer couriers are the visible link between the Library and the housebound community, and in carrying out her work she has formed warm relationships within that community, enhancing both the Library and the Special Access service.
