This citation is presented to John Gourlay on 7 December 2016, in recognition of his longstanding voluntary service to the Dunedin Public Libraries.
For over ten years, John has committed significant time each week assisting with projects associated with the management of Dunedin Public Libraries’ collections.
John has displayed outstanding qualities of reliability, punctuality, co-operation, flexibility and accuracy. He has willingly contributed his ideas and has at times identified project risks.
His commitment to the Library has been extraordinary, and he is a most deserving recipient of this award.
